The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, and managing the accounting team. This role plays a key part in supporting business decisions through financial analysis and reporting.
Supervise and manage the accounting team and daily operations
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Oversee general ledger activities and reconciliations
Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
Analyze financial data and provide management with insights
Develop and implement accounting procedures and internal controls
Support financial planning and forecasting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an advantage
Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience
At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Experience with budgeting and financial analysis
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong leadership and team management skills
